Guy Schalom’s broad experience has allowed him to move effortlessly between performing major solos in large-scale productions such as Riverdance (Royal Albert Hall) or the snare drum feature in Peterloo Overture (Barbican with LSO) to Andrzej Panufnik’s Concertino for Timpani, Percussion and Strings.
Recent engagements saw Guy recording all the percussion on Daphna Sadeh’s Born in Parallel (with the Academy of Ancient Music) and the Balkan percussion features in John Powell’s Hollywood movie score of PAN (2015) and collaborating with composer Stephen Hussey and the Urban Soul Orchestra.
